Different people
Agents, also called producers, sell insurance. Adjusters investigate and settle claims. They are licensed under different classes, bought by different vendors and reached with different messages. Our agent list and adjuster list are separate files with separate packs and prices.
Different columns
The agent file has 21 columns built around what an agent is licensed to sell: license type, lines of authority, and life and health or property and casualty flags. The adjuster file has 27 columns built around claims work: adjuster type, a public adjuster flag, a designated home state flag, and the states, numbers and classes of the licenses on file. Name, address, business_email and business_phone use the same headers in both.
Some overlap
A person who holds both a producer license and an adjuster license can appear in both files. The National Producer Number is the same in each, so you can match the two lists on npn if you buy both.
Choosing
Buy the agent list to reach people who sell policies: recruiting, carrier distribution, agency software. Buy the adjuster list to reach people who handle claims: adjusting firms, claims technology, restoration and repair, training. Each has a free sample with its own columns.
